Book Review: "Blood and Chocolate" by Annette Curtis Klause

Blood and Chocolate is an amazing book about a girl, who happens to be a werewolf. But she lost her father in a house fire and after that she feels lost. She wants to have a normal life with normal friends. Then she meets a boy, a human. Or as her people call him a "meat-boy". But when things are too good to be true, she loses him and almost loses her pack.
This is one of those books where it was hard to put longer then a few minutes. And after the last few books I've read, it's nice to finally read a book like this.

Book Review: "The Light of Day" by Graham Swift

The Light of Day by Graham Swift is about George Webb an ex-cop turned private detective, who's job is to find out if his clients' spouses are having an affair, when one day a women walks in and asks him to keep an eye on her husband. But she tells him that she already knows that he's having an affair, with a girl who they gave their son's room too because she has no where else to go, but she wants to make sure that the girl flies back to her country alone. But George fell in love with this women, who ends up killing her husband when he comes home from dropping the girl off at the airport. So now George visit her in jail, thinks back about his family, his past job as a cop and that fateful night.

The only thing that really bothers me about this book is how it jumps around to different times during the main characters life. It made me confused and if I didn't read the summary on the back of the book AND on Goodreads then I wouldn't have had a clue what was going on. It's an ok book for me, and it's one of those books where I would give it one more try and if it's still just an ok book, then I'll pass it on to someone else who could love it.

Knitting and Crocheting Update:

The Plain & Simple Washcloth
The Pigeon Pair Washcloth
The Crocheted Washcloth
The Paris Washcloth
The Sorting Hat Washcloth
The Cotton/Linen Spa Washcloth
The Big Girl Washcloth
So for the past few weeks I've been in one of those moods were I wanted to make/work on something that is quick and easy. But the projects I had started....let's just say I fell out of love with them. So they've been banished to the WIP drawer. And I've decided that I want to make washcloths for Jordan and I. Since we don't have any of our own right now. I happen to have 5 or 6 balls of cotton yarn so I started making us some washcloths.  I finished The Sorting Hat washcloth last night and started a Deathly Hallows one an hour ago. If you want to know what kind of yarn I use, find me on Ravelry. I'm Samashwilliams94.
I hope you all had a great weekend.
                 Happy Knitting!

Book Review: This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen

This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen has to be one of those books that I love to re-read over and over again. I've read it about 3 or 4 time since me 10th grade year of high school and it's still a great book. I never get bored of it. This is the description of it on Goodreads:
"When it comes to relationships, Remy doesn't mess around. After all, she'd learned all there is to know from her mother, who's currently working on husband number five. But there's something about Dexter that seems to defy all of Remy's rules. He certainly doesn't seem like Mr. Right. For some reason, however, Remy just can't seem to shake him. Could it be that Remy's starting to understand what those love songs are all about?"
This book is a lot better then this description gives it. I highly suggest you read this book.

Book Review: Borderlines by Caroline Kraus

Borderlines by Caroline Kraus is a memoir about Caroline dealing with a difficult person in her life and how she survived through it. This memoir has to be one of the best written one I have read so far. I highly suggest you give it a read. It's really great.
